It's not perfect, you can see some glitches here and there and some tables seem to glitch more than others but I don't believe I'm using optimal settings as of yet as the camera has a little trouble tracking my head. Still, I think you will agree the PS3Eye webcam mode is pretty impressive. Wiimote mode is more accurate and less CPU intensive, while the webcam modes require the right lighting and a bunch of setting to adjust. This demo shows the following future pinball tables: Reel it in, Iron Man, the Goonies and Medieval Madness. Note that the costs were: $15 for a used PS3Eye and. My own tests were done using the PS3Eye camera, though I have some of the "gear" on order that will allow me to use the wiimote mode/future development "twin PS3Eye" mode. BAM's job is two fold: Provide a better view AND contain modules that can use hardware to provide a better 3D view.ģd view? yes, for example, two of the modes supported are Wiimote mode (using two wiimotes, a calibration board and LED's which the player needs to wear on his person) and "simple webcam" or "simple PS3Eye" which allows the use of webcam/PS3 Eyetoy camera, to track your movements via headtracking. The title is valid, as although Future Pinball has an arcade render mode for viewing its tables in a pincab, its view seems more geared towards pinball tables that have no depth (ie: pre-80's tables as opposed to the more modern tables which have toys, etc). Background: a genius named Rafal Janicki has created an add-on to future pinball called: BAM - "Better Arcade Mode" which works for pincabs only.
